So being someone who likes to exercise regularly I had noticed I had put on some weight, which is a contribution of poor diet and the tablets I have been taking called Olanzapine. I found out I have Type 2 Diabetes, my worse nightmare.
Luckily I was able to change my medication, but now I have had to deal with this aswell as having high cholesterol, and problems with my liver.
I am really annoyed with myself as up until two year ago I had been eating well and was losing weight, and so now I have by doctors instructions been on a Low GI Diet.
Not easy, however I have been in more control over the amount of sugar I intake and am eating more fruits and vegetables, so feel that I need to gain control of my eating habits as before.
The one thing I have started to add to my diet is Apple Cider Vinegar, totally disgusting not going to lie, but is really good for lowering blood sugar apparently and it has helped with my cravings.
I have come across some videos which I found really helpful, that I researched to try and control my blood sugar level.
I think it has been a huge lesson to me, not to take food and my diet for grunted.
Here is a video talking about how you can lower blood sugar immediately.
Then I found this other video which gives other sources of ingredients you can take that will also help reduce blood sugar levels.
Five worst foods for diabetics (know what to eat instead).
If you to have diabetes and have reversed it, please comment below I would love to hear from you.
